About the Internship
Join our editorial team and learn the craft of editing from the inside. You will work on real manuscripts — not dummy exercises — under the guidance of our senior editors, developing skills that are directly applicable to a career in publishing.
What You Will Do
- Proofread manuscripts, blog posts, and marketing materials for grammar, punctuation, and consistency
- Provide beta reading reports with structured feedback on readability and flow
- Fact-check content across non-fiction and educational titles
- Assist senior editors with developmental and line editing tasks
- Help maintain and update the QuillBees house style guide
- Contribute to editorial meetings with observations and suggestions
