About the Internship
Publishing runs on coordination. Our Operations Intern keeps the moving parts in sync — from author timelines to vendor follow-ups — giving you a ground-level view of how a publishing business actually works day to day.
What You Will Do
- Maintain and update project trackers across active titles and internal initiatives
- Follow up with authors, illustrators, and collaborators on outstanding tasks and deadlines
- Coordinate with vendors — printers, designers, distributors — and log communications
- Assist with scheduling, meeting notes, and action point follow-through
- Help build and refine internal processes, templates, and documentation
- Support the Operations Manager with ad hoc tasks across the business
